Health & Nutrition
Balanced, wholesome meals, with an emphasis on fresh and, where possible, local ingredients, and always prepared with love, will nourish the children, and supply them with the energy they need. The wholistic needs of the children will be taken into account when planning the menu. As far as possible the menu will reflect the international make-up of the student body. When the school menu has been finalised it will be published on the website.
Dietary restrictions and allergies
The school will make reasonable efforts to support dietary restrictions. The more common restrictions such as gluten and lactose intolerance should not present a problem. However, we cannot promise to provide a diet suitable for children with more severe restrictions.
There will be visits to the school once or twice per week from a professional nurse, who lives in nearby Liverpool. Also in Liverpool are family doctors, and the well-equipped Queens General Hospital—an acute care hospital—15 minutes away.
The school may decline admission to any child with health complications we are unable to properly and fully support.
